I’m a journalism graduate from the University of Limerick, and an occasional freelance writer.

This site will mainly be a portfolio of sorts, as well as a way to stretch my writing muscles and keep in the habit of writing regularly.

I like to review things, so that will be my main focus here. Without getting too bogged down in nerdy particulars, I am fascinated by the various styles of review; long, short, rating, no rating, video — so there will likely be some variety here, as I figure out which style is for me. I like the idea of frequently producing smaller, easy-to-digest reviews, but I’ll write some longer ones too, as the mood strikes.

I like to think we’ve moved past obsessing over number scores on video game reviews and star ratings in pro wrestling, so I won’t be using those, but I appreciate that people like them – so maybe I’ll cave at some point.
